The '4 match pass crowd' have reserved seats - the same ones for each game - it's like a mini membership. So in a way you're right - those seats are marked as sold.

Plenty of Bronze now that they have opened Level 6 on the eastern side. The only Platinum doubles available are also on level 6. Silver gives Level 1 and Gold gives Level 3 (all for doubles)

Apparently all SydneySider Platinum ( ) didn't get sent at all, didn't even get issued!! They only realised this when all the calls started coming in. There's most likely other combinations affected too but that's the one they told me about

Not recommended - especially for this game - all the street parking has a 2 hr limit or less.

For this game also remember that they will have already blocked off the Easter Show area - so no access to the Showground streets and the Overflow area will also be fenced off.

For the membership categories they KNOW to be affected (like Sydneysider Platinum I mentioned earlier) they sent out replacement (paper) tickets by express post even to those who hadn't contacted them. Mine arrived today. The tickets have a barcode but the seat details are hand written.

What category are you RUTB? You might find replacements in the letterbox tonight when you get home.

Also, you wouldn't be lining up with the "10,000 others waiting for the hat/scarf" Those are collected from temporary booths which are totally separate from the "Service Office" near gates A & B. You'll only be lining up with others like your self.

I got disconnected twice after around 8 minutes but I did get through.

It's definitely a monumental stuff up.

I better hope my faith in Playfair comes true then.

I reckon the crowds will be down with all the pessimism around but I'm still optimistic that we can win on the weekend. If the Swan's kick straight and catch their marks we may just crack that denuded Hawthorn defence out. At least that's what I keep telling myself. If there is a positive, it must be that the Swans are around 15 to 1 to make the top 4 ? great odds for a team that has had absolute shockers and bounced back too many times to count.

As far as the crowd for Saturday goes

If it is fine I think we should get about 30000.

If it rains we'll struggle to get 20000.

Promotion's been non-existent, and the Swans' membership department have pissed a lot of people off (I've got mine, but Destructive is still waiting for his). Plus the Ticketek bungle, where for a few days this week the cheapest tickets being sold were more than the cheapest tickets for the World Cup qualifier, will have meant several of people who would have liked to have gone have given up on the idea.

I'll be there, and I'd love to see a good roll-up; but we're kidding ourselves if we're thinking this is not going to be a cringe-worthy embarrassing crowd.
If there's anything over 27,000 there on Saturday night, I'll walk from Homebush to the SCG for the round 4 Swans v Carlton game.

This has precisely zero to do with on field performance. I'm a long standing full club member, have been going to games since well before the Swans tasted any degree of success (I'm not sure how many games I went to before I even saw a win, but it was a lot), and this is a @@@@ing joke - just send me the pass to get me in the gate - I don't care about the other crap. Finally got through on the phone today. It simply dropped out about 6 times, then 3 times it dropped out after being on hold for around 10 minutes (perhaps a new phone system should have gone in with the database). Eventually I was told "you should have it". Yeah, I know that. And no, we're not whinging a lot - not to have membership cards which were paid for months ago, before the first home game of the season, is inept and pathetic. And they aren't platinum Sydneysider - just plain old concourse tickets - the same place in bay 30 we've been sitting for, hmm, maybe 10 years (discounting the slight move when they redid the seating) - it'd be longer in the one spot but for the fact they stuffed up our seating location about 10 years ago and moved us. So no, I'm not being flippant, or losing the passion for my team, I'm just fed up with an amateur admin department.

                      My sentiments exactly.

I may be able to shed some light on the phones though. My guess is that the department was inundated with calls and the server simply couldn't hold it. At the old Pizza Hut Call Centre, the server could hold 300 calls and anything over that would recieve an engaged signal. That was an Eastern State call centre, so I imagine that the one at the Swans is much smaller. In peak periods that just means it's hard to connect. Ticketek has a similar problem which I'm sure we're all away of.

Maybe it's the attention that the Swans are now giving to individuals complaining about their seats and requesting changes that is causing the delays ??

Administrative probelms may be the immediate issue here and people are right to complain that the Swans should be delivering better BUT it would concern me if bad service was enough of a reason to want to give up on the swans. If poor perhiperal support services is the catalyst to toss in your membership - like I said, when the real long term issues start on the field and hope seems half a dozen seasons away the whinging will be intense.

Having said that, I don't care about the paraphernalia much myself and would just like to know my membership card is going to arrive on time.

If you want to drive and don't mind a short walk, park near Concord West railway station and follow the crowd.

Maybe it is, I have no idea. I was patient, I didn't change my seats, I paid the full amount straight up. I only rang when it appeared I wouldn't get my tickets on time. You'd think people like me would be the easy ones to take care of first. Apparently not. I'm now taking bets as to when the tickets will actually arrive.
