We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

      He had stats?
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

As I commented last week, Plugger would be laughing (or crying) over the things forwards get frees for nowadays.
Don't forget the high contact on Bolton by Franklin. Oh wait, that wasn't paid

That was the one that got me fuming!
I just could not believe it wasn't paid with the amount of tiggy touch "technical" frees that were.

There were many frees that did not get paid for either team.
Shaw high tackled a few times and was luckey to get away with it.
One of which was right infront of goal, over the shoulder tackle.

Would love to see White get the RS nomination this week, though there's probably about a 0.2% chance of that happening when most of our young guns never get any recognition.

It'd really stick it up some people.

Thought he was a ripper - as good as Jolly was, White was just as impressive when he had his chance. Loved the goal on half time too, never looked like missing.

There need only be two words in this thread for Jessie White....

                    ........Has Arrived.

Breakout game for him that we'll hopefully see him build on. The future of our rucking dept if Saturday is anything to go by.

Would have to say Brett Merredith and Jessie White were the stars tonight, so good!

Meredith will get better with game time It is only a matter of time before they are forced to play him in the midfield. Was clearly instructed to play up the ground.

Jesse White is now ready for a lot more game time.

White has really shone so far this season, and though it's still very early I'm allowing myself to get carried away because I believe he's just that good!

Who woulda thought? A young, confident, big bodied KPP and he plays for the Swans. Something ain't right!

If Murphy can get himself fit and playing, we might have something to work with.

Not to mention Currie and Johnstone.

Just need to draft a longterm KP defender that is phycially able to slot in quickly down back.

It's ace, isn't it DST! I'm sure you carried the title of official driver of the J.White bandwagon for quite a while- you pick 'em early. I just picked him 'cause he's handsome

In all seriousness, if White strings together another few games of the calibre of his first few of this season then we absolutely have to make a 22 game commitment to him this year. Play him, see what he can do. He won't be a long term ruck, he might have the athletecisim to win a lot of contests now but MAN it must be taking a toll on his body as an undersized ruckman to consistently jump over guys that have 5-6 inches (plus arm length) on him.

Those four are exciting and promising - very early days on Johnston, mind. But the cupboard is completely bare after those few. Last weekend the reserves team was completely bereft of a key backman, with Murphy injured, White and Grundy in the seniors, and Johnston meandering around the half-forward line. Pyke and Orreal are tall but, apart from being raw, look strictly like ruckmen at the moment.

RBN is draftable this year and is KPP height - though as of the end of last season he was very skinny still. And given his frame, it was hard last year to get a handle on his potential by watching the reserves game. He certainly isn't a dud but I'm not confident to make a call on whether he's AFL potential.

Then there really is nothing in reserve. Lets hope there are some decent quality talls available in the draft this year. We're gonna need them!
