Goal to Drummond, just not what we needed approaching half time.

Shame about Crouch. He'd done a great job shutting down Johnstone, and small defenders are not our strength on last week's performance.

We have to change tactics in the 2nd half. We've got to start winning more of the centre bounces and we have to kick long to our forwards before Brisbane flood back. Every time we get the ball inside 50 it looks busier than Pitt St Mall on Xmas Eve.

The free kicks and 50's against us are hurting to - we've gotta be more careful about not giving them away so easily.

Cruiser, there is one thing wrong with your theory. First we must get the footy. In wet weather you always play in front eg. Brisbane. We are going to ground in packs and there are loose Brisbane players just sitting off taking it away. Our efforts in keeping it in our forward line are non existent.

A very distrurbing and indictable half of football.

Must say though there seems to be different sets of rules re the head high decisions and Barry Hall is infringed every time he goes for it. That last one with the front on push right in front of the umpire is tantamount to cheating from the ump.

Good thing Hall is playing. Otherwise it could be really really really ugly. Bevo's doing well and Jude is at least attacking the ball hard. Pretty much all the rest need a big lift if we're even a chance of turning this around.

Great first goal by Meredith though

Any word on why Ablett is out? Is it still the family issue, or has he picked up an injury?

It seems to me our blokes are not reading the play at all. Grundy is no wet tracker.

Hall has kept us in it, if we still are.

Swans need to start playing in front and keep their feet. Free kick count of 12-19 is really hurting us. Most of those are reckless (i.e stupid) play by Swans players.

Seem to me to be behind at almost every stoppage or quick kick. Some luck going Bris way, but our intensity and effectiveness is off. Sigh.
Patterns emerge, but do they mean anything? No.

Absolutely @@@@-house. Nothing you can do but laugh at our embarrassing efforts.

Barlow and O'Keefe are the funniest.

O'Keefe has been dreadful this season. I wish we had traded him.

Robert Shaw trotting out the old line about Goodes in the ruck...
