Who watched "On the Couch" last night?
It was interesting to hear Healey and Hird say that when a player wants out of a club they do it cause they aren't happy and need a change.They were talking of ROK,who,to them,looks disinterested.It was also said that the relationship between the player and the coach usually became strained after the failure to trade.
Also at the start of the show they spoke about the value of the kick and as an example showed a perfect long kick from Moore to Hall which gave us our first goal against Brisbane as an example

Exactly what many of us have been saying.

I think there probably are some issues there with ROK, but I do also think he has been having a red hot go out there in each game so far this season as well.

Thought his game against Brisbane was his best this year thus far. Though, that's not saying much as he's been god awful in the other two. I don't think that they'll be dropping him to the reserves just yet but that will seriously need to start looking at him and his work ethic. The game against Carlton might be just what he needs to revitalise himself and prove his loyalty!

That's not what I saw at the Gabba on the weekend.

He is a senior player, I expect quite a lot from him. His trademark hard work and pace were nowhere to be seen. Could most often be found wandering 20 metres off his man when we didn't have the ball, and not really bothering to lead and create options when we did have the ball.

He certainly wasn't on his own, but as mentioned, I expect more from a senior premiership player.

I've admired O'Keeefe throughout his career - even when he decided to become a woeful kick on goal. But I sent a text to a friend towards the end of the Lions game saying "sack O'Keefe".

I can't see he's adding anything to the team right now except giving us 18 "players" on the ground. Maybe he has a secret injury. Or maybe he's bored. But his ticker and overhead marks are what he adds to the team and right now he's giving us neither.

O'Keefe is fine. Just going through a rough patch. Just have to wait a couple of weeks. He has a heap of friends down here in Sydney, and never complained before. Hopefully this week he can have a cracker of a game.

Not quite.

There's a difference between "could have walked" and "stayed on because he didn't get a better offer", and at the moment, it's showing in the way he's playing.

Can't say that I agree with you here champ. What about the relationship between Andy Lovett and Matty Knights or Hamish McIntosh and Dean Laidley? I bet those guys are getting on pretty well at the minute. Lets all be honest here and admit that we missed out on a golden opportunity to offload a bloke that is more than likely finished.
On a seperate note, I just wanted to add that Jimmy Hird is very impressive with his his work for Fox Sports. The man just oozes sex appeal.

I'll add the caveat that my view is based on just the Hawks game + watching on tele, I find it hard to judge ROK based on television coverage as he normally is such a hard worker when the ball isn't around.
