The Old Man made a comment tonight that rung with me: "It doesn't seem 5 years since the Tiger fans were spitting on Frawley." What the hell has Wallace been doing all this time?

The guy really seems like a nice guy, always enjoy seeing him 'On the Couch' and at press conferences. Hope things turn out okay for him.

He's a much better commentator and analyst than a coach. Mind you, he's been handicapped by Richmond's appalling recruiting (for which he is partly responsible). So thankful we got Roos instead.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Well the Tigers are down by 31 points at half time against Melbourne. Surely this is the end.

Harvey's safe for now, Wallace probably not.

Its now just a matter of when for Wallace. I hope its this week not next. Teams almost always win following the appointment of a new coach during the season.

My gut says not this week. They lost, but they weren't absolutely woeful like they were against the Doggies. If I had to make a bet I'd say three weeks, after a couple more games in Melbourne.

I was one of the people who tipped Richmond to be one of the big improvers this year and am baffled that this hasn't transpired, I still think you will see massive improvement from them once they find themselves a coach who is able to empower the players and increase their self-belief because it is sorely lacking at the moment. Oh and I'd move Richo to the backline, would rather build a forward line around Morton and Riewoldt. Richo's already plugging holes all over the field without having the added pressure of having to kick straight... Drop McMahon, he was horrible today, he's apparently supposed to be playing a Shaw-like role? (Refuse to use the word 'quarterbacking') But not very well. I really like Nathan Brown but I think he may need a Nick Davis-like spell in the VFL also if he doesn't find some form soon.

It's originally from the same sport, but I prefer the position "Running Back" for the Shaw, Kennelly, et al type players. Still, there's nothing wrong with calling them what they are - Half-Back Flankers.
