Has anyone else seen this? Interesting interview with Tadgh on Irish TV. Says his Dad's passing made him reconsider Oz, talks about his emotional farewell from the Swans. Makes passing reference to teammates falling under sway of drugs and gambling.

It is Ireland. The Cork hurlers were threatening to strike to remove their manager McCarthy. The football squad would have gone out with them. The Cork officials basically blacklisted the players in retaiation and picked a bunch of neville o'nobodies in their place. 10,000 people marched in protest through Cork in support of the hurlers. McCarthy stepped aside in March this year and peace has been restored to the rebel county. As another matter of interest one of the leaders of the hurlers was the Carlton arse kickers elder brother.

He does look like he's been to Shane Warne's hair surgeon.

I couldn't work out if that were a local or national TV channel. In any case, it's good to see the Irish are impressed by one of their own playing for the Swans.

Surely there's an ambitious Vancouver TV producer now storyboarding a doco, "A Pyke Among The Swans".
