      Schwass?? Swans Hall of Fame......Hahahahahahahaha

      That is funny.

As for names expect Skilton and Kelly to be shoe-ins along with Pratt, Nash and Rantall. Plus with the tie in with 100 years since the first premiership in the VFL/AFL expect Vic Belcher to get in. I wouldn't expect many more than 10 names inducted at this events to start the Hall of Fame off with a dinner each year (swapped between Sydney and Melbourne) inducting more names for here on in.
      Once was, now elsewhere

Wardy - is it ok if I wear my bridesmaid dress from your "wedding"? The watered taffeta number in "teal" with the princess neckline, puffy sleeves, and skirt with chook net?
of course that frock would look lovely and you must have one of those wrist band floral arrangements - red and white flowers of course. Be sure to wear flat shoes - that way if you fall over, the damage wont be as severe!!

I have to travel /have travelled to both so it doesn't matter. As it is in Melbourne I am going to wear black (not taffeta)

yeah they are just spreading it around which is fair- still not a cheap night out though - but to those going please contact the club before hand to make sure (especially if you have booked the whole table) that your people are actually on the table. Our team of the Century table was a shambles (they added three complete strangers and took off two of our party and the person in charge intimated that it was our fault - dont know how - but it was) and if they do stuff it up - demand an apology. Otherwise - have a nice night and have one for me (I'll be getting sloshed in Tamworth that weekend!)

He said on SEN that he was going to be there. I didn't say he would be in the Hall of Fame, but he is part of the event.

Got an email from the club this morning.

Why is this function being held in Melbourne?

I would have gone had it been held in Sydney.

                        Anyone?
Me too Annie. Very disappointing. They moving the club back to Melbourne do you think?

Probably not. The Lake 'Oval' is rectangular now.

Perhaps just acknowledging the first 100+ years of the club were in Melbourne.

Should do a B&F down there every 5 years or so too.

Leo Barry? you star! We'll miss ya, ''Leapin''.

What's goin' on. My brother rang to get tickets and was told they are sold out, but they were still advertising on radio today. What's goin' on, is this another marketing stuff up.

I rang Melbourne office yesterday and didnt sound sold out. I think I read somewhere that gold class is exhausted. Can anyone help me with where to sit at Ethiad? I believe that Swans have reserved level 1 43 and 44 only for those going to the dinner and want tickets to the game, but I am told by Melbourne friends that they think the cheersquad are at the Lockett end and I am really hoping to sit amongst other Swans and not the blues.
