    Totally agree, umpiring has been ordinary.Geelong are far better then us and will win comfortably, but the umps do their bit at times. There were 3 clear free kicks to Sydney in the lead up to the Rooke goal.

        Difference has been..

        Johnson in first half.

        Bevan in 2nd.

        Frustrating to watch, we've had our chances n should be a lot closer.

        cmon swannies we need another anzac day 2003 10 goal last quarter.

                    Hall is our biggest liability. We were well and truly in that game. We were in every contest. We either one it or applied enough pressure that they couldn't play to their game. Enter Hall. Twice, at pivotal moments (as it turns out), he gets near the ball, gives a STUPID free kick and the pressure dissipates. Add that, the free that, either he should've been payed or shouldn't have been payed to anyone in the closing seconds. The umpires are over sensitive toward him (probably for good reason) and it kills us in quarters like that one.

                    The bad mistakes from Mattner and Bucky had similar impact. At least they were trying to do the right thing...

                            Goodes: Having his best game of the season. A few mistakes but at least is giving us some direction.

                            Positives: At least Johnson was relatively quiet in that quarter...C. Bolts doing the job again.

                            Negatives: Apart from the skill errors, just Bevan and Hall really.
