If you didn't believe the umpires were rubbish, there was the evidence. Very soft free kick to Geelong in their back half, followed by a blatant free to Sydney in our 50 being missed, leading to a Geelong goal not long after/

This had been proven in the annual stats for the last 7 years....by far the least frees in the league year after year...

this will not be mentioned after the game because of the result but the umpiring has been appallingly one sided in this game

it would be nice for someone to actually say something after this game about the number of throws, holding the ball and in the back decisions which have been called against the swans in this match and were not called against the cats

Followed by Mattner being scragged around the neck and then pinged for holding the ball.

              Not just fisted but DVDA.

ThenKirk gets ridden into the ground...nyet.

That holding the ball against Mattner was ridiculous. Granted he took them on, but he got about 1/50 of a second when he actually got tackled before he got pinged. If that was a Geelong player, they'd have at least 2 or 3 seconds to get rid of it.

Hall is either at the end or in a terrible patch of form and fitness.

I haven't felt too hard done by when it comes to the umpires today, I think we have blown some reasonable chances when charging forward and against Geelong you just have to take them all.

I am more annoyed at the Campbell/Pickering Geelong love fest. Thank god Healy injects some 50/50 opinions.

I can sort of understand, they are seriously good.

                        The commentary has been terrible.

Our blokes have made it hard for him all day with their delivery of the ball. He's fine

This is the worst we have done yet in the last few meetings with these show ponies....

                              Yep.

The one that stood out for me was not one but TWO clear HITB that were not called in the lead up to Rooke's goal.

Geelong are two classes above us so why do we get further puinished by the umps? I don't get it.

There was a third free in there as well before Rooke's. Can't remember what it was now, but there definitely was.
