Don't agree with any of the outs. Dropping Hall - fair dinkum, one of the worst things I've ever read on here.

Malceski is the one that I'd be seriously looking at.

No dropping of Hall, the poor delivery is correct and he is still regaining fitness.

However it should be noted he is slowing down, there have been other times when he would have spilt packs and pushed up the ground in order to make his impact, he didn't have that in him yesterday and while he is recovering from injury the older player syndrome is making that hard.

He stays int the but I think we need to acknowledge he is most definitely a cog below his best and he's not going to fully regain that and use him as another forward rather than a full kp forward. We need Grundy to push into games consistently which will help Hall a little more with teams having to seriously find match ups for 3 tall forwards.

As the Fox commentators, Healy in particular, have been saying for a while, Hall has always been best on the lead. He should forget the wrestling rubbish and get back to what he does best. Shouldn't be dropped because he will always take the opposition's no.1 defender.

I think we're getting very close to the point of throwing in youngsters for the rest of the season. How will bringing in Crouch help us at all? If he does, I'd rather it be for Bevan than a younger player such as Thornton.

I'm thinking of the future mate. How silly of me.

Malceski... Unfortunately he has completely lost his mojo since his knee op, even his disposal was ordinary yesterday. Refuses to contest hard, and doesn't contest at all if a collision looks likely. I hope time and renewed confidence will restore his 06/07 form. Sadly at the moment he's no where near it. Give Laidlaw or Smith a run in his place.

              Bevan out for Crouch.

Will anything improve his disposal? Imagine how many clangers there would be in 50 possessions.

White, Pyke, Thornton, Meredith, Jack, Moore, Smith, O'Dwyer, Bird and Veszpremi have all played senior footy over the last two years.

We'll get beaten by ordinary teams if we start dropping blokes like Hall and just play kids.

No-one expected us to beat Geelong, in fact many predicted that we'd be beaten comprehensively so there's no need for hysteria. We're a middle of the road side, with a realistic chance of playing finals again in 2009.

Any changes should be based on performances over the last three weeks not on the weekend just gone.

Geelong are far and away the best team we have played this year and the hysteria in the aftermath while it doesnt suprise me is misplaced.

Based on the last three weeks performances, i would have thought that malceski may come out, a midfielder may get a run in reserve grade and they may rest big Mike Pyke but it seems that injuries may actually dictate selection at the moment.

In fairness to him he is about the only midfielder we have who can accelerate out of packs. He clangers when his is off balance or in full stride a second away from a tackle.

Hall needs to play against the Eagles so that he can punch out a few of the others this time. I hope he king hits Hunter cause that bloke really annoys me. Time for Malceski to have a game the reserves.

It's a damn pity we're not playing the criminal budgies in Round 22. What were the AFL thinking???

In my ideal world, Blind Barry could have gone hell for leather getting in some last minute practice for his boxing career.

Geez "my ideal world" is a great place to live.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Grow hair (might be a bit tricky for some of our lads ) but beards for Sure - Rooke was almost "Sampi-esque" he was wild and looked like he wanted to knock someone's block off. It might just work.

Jeez the temptation will be there wont it? but W/C will put Staker (I assume he's playing) on Hall - and the media will whip it all up this week (and they dont care of what actual detrimental effect it may have on the people involved - they just want the publicity). Baz will be very conscious of what he's doing - WC will only antagonise him more so as he lashes out - but if he does lash out - God I hope that Hunter is on the end of it.

I'll probably get it for this but I'd love to see Dan O'Keefe get a run. From what I have seen his ball use is outstanding, so perhaps him for Malceski. I'm a Pyke fan, I think his progress has been fantastic, but I do think he should make way for Currie now that he's had a taste. Not sure what's going on with Jessie White, but surely if Baz is getting triple teamed another big forward might fix that, have one at home and the other roam the 50m area, like Franklin and Roughead.
