    Reserves v Ainslie

    Sunday 17th May
    2pm
    Ainslie Oval

Ainslie are 3rd on the ladder with a 3-2 (1 draw) record.
Swans are 5th on the ladder with a 2-4 record.

Queanbeyan's loss on the Saturday means the Swans can take 4th spot with a win.

    Possible team list:
    8. Daniel O'Keefe - coming off 4 goals and BOG last week.
    9. Nick Malceski - dropped from the seniors
    10. Daniel Currie
    11. Ed Barlow
    22. Matt Laidlaw
    27. Kristin Thornton - dropped from the seniors
    28. Jared Crouch - another good game should earn him a seniors recall
    34. Ryan Brabazon
    38. Mike Pyke - dropped from the seniors
    40. Nick Smith - hopefully okay from the concussion last week.
    43. Matt O'Dwyer
    44. Jake Orreal
    46. Taylor Gilchrist

    OUTS:
    18. Jesse White - promoted to seniors
    21. Leo Barry - reinjured himself

    Scholarship players:
Nathan Gordon didn't play last week due to injury. NSW/ACT rams don't play this week, so RBN may be a chance. Matt May played last week too.

3 solid ins and 2 outs, possibly the strongest line up of the year to date. However, none of those players will fix one of the major deficiencies in the side, that being the key defensive posts. The side has had to rely on topups to play on the opposition's best forwards, usually with disastrous results. Their star forward Ben Hughes is in line for a big bag tomorrow. Away from home, I think Ainslie will be too strong for the Reserves.

Thanks for that assessment. Hopefully Brett Allison and Frosty will be able to work a miracle.

He was interviewed on the ground before the match, couldn't understand what was b eing said, but my friend insisted his grey hair was the result of spot light highlights, I think it is just grey. In other words, I doubt we will see him back in the Seniors with his dignity in place. I could be wrong....for instance Kirky's hair is positively gunmetal around the back and I would never ever say he can't play....unless of course I had a death wish
