That was what I said at the time. It did the Number 39 proud.

Dunno if it was up there with the Whizza effort on Chris Langford in the 1987 semi. But it will definitely be up there for Mark of the Year contention.

Darren Jolly is already quipping about asking Heath for a drive, considering it was his body he sat on top of in taking the mark!

PS:- But if Heath Grundy won a car, wouldn't he stood and send it sideways into somebody else? One of the most frustrating players in our team. And that is saying something!

I have had to temporarily shelve my Reg Dart Board. It was massively satisfying to see that mark. He also did some other very good stuff, seasoned with a sprinkle of Aaagghhh Reg!!! I doubt he would ever become one of my favourites, that's just the way it is, but as I said, the dart board is at present shelved.

Yeah, without that sensational mark I would have been critical of his game particularly as he was in a dominant side which took so much pressure off him.His decision making is slow and handpassing /kicking often ends up in turn overs .These aspects stood out even more yesterday as everyone else was soo slick and so accurate.

The Fox team were calling it mark of the year to date - for what that's worth.

Anyone else noted the fact that Reg took the mark with a ride on Jolls, just as a previous Mark of the Year flyer from Geelong took it over Jolls out at ANZ Stadium a couple of years ago? Name eludes me, but that's not uncommon these days.....

Jolls should start a business in setting up high flyer points.

That was a great mark on a day when there were great marks all around.

I hope he gets a nomination. It would do wonders for his confidence.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

He actually has some serious competition this week.

Lovett-Murray took 2 gooduns, one a ripper, and Ryder took a beauty as well.

That said, Reg's flight into the stratosphere and the actual hang time on Jolly's shoulders should see him get the gong even given the Melbourne-centric judges.

Okay, let's start the Cousins jokes...
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Is there anything more frustrating in life than trying to watch a clip on the afl website?
