Oh, Lloyd's not THAT bad. It's been interesting to watch him over the years on the Footy Show before others and seeing what a difference the media training has made to him. Time was he couldn't string a coherent sentence together on TV, but now he's articulate, insightful and thought provoking. I like him enough.

I wonder who writes the stuff for him? He's as dumb as they come, but he can play footy, well, could maybe, I dunno, still plays a bit

Over at Bigfooty it is a given that the eseendon players marks are superior to Grundy's.

That probably applies to goals as well following Lloyd's heel kick to win GOTY.

As for the mark, it's definitely a contender for MOTY.

Well it was B Grade celebrity watch in the Bradman this week - had Tim Rogers and either Merrick/Rosso (the one without a beard) in the box behind us, the scrawny bloke from Chasers with his son in front and somewhere I swore I saw "Kochie" with a Port Power scarf - could that be right?

Is the mark of the year judged only from the winners in each round? If so does that mean that the other great marks which could have rivalled Grundy's but were in the same round cannot be in contention as they did not win the weekly award. Thus giving Grundy a greater chance of winning the mark of the year?
