We have more depth this time. I also think we have more run.Maybe Roosey didn't change anything coz it might have made the situation even worse..who knows? I think we will do better and hopefully this time there will be a planB because Craig and Malthouse certainly have already countered our Plan A.

Maybe we saw Plan B in action on Sunday.
How the game plan unfolds when everyone does their part and we win the hard ball and run to support at every opportunity.

We can look forward to a great year if that continues.

        One week at a time.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Like I said , three out of four if we play like yesterday, one if we play like we have in the past against the likes of adelaide and collingwood.

It would be a dream come true if we beat Collingwopod. It's true you either love them or hate them.I'm sick of getting a ribbing when we lose to them. Our boys have to win this one for their supporters.

This upcoming month will determine whether the Swans are contenders meaning the experts were wrong or whether the Swans are pretenders meaning the experts were right all along.

We had the wood over the Doggies for a while but they kicked our arses last year. They'll be hungry after narrowly losing to Geelong so it's going to be a challenge for us. If we can get a good lead to begin with but actually keep that lead by half time, we're a good chance of winning.

Hawks will indeed be interesting but I reckon we can still win the game and hopefully by a good margin.

Then our worst nightmares for a fortnight: Collingwood and Adelaide. Let's actually play some good footy against them for once as our record against these two is absolutely dreadful.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

Adelaide have been a bogey team far longer than the Pies - with them it is just the past 3 seasons, whereas with the Crows it stretches back to the start of the Eade era.

That said, whenever I watch us play the Crows, I get the impression the team thinks it can win, and in several of the losses we've been competitive around the ground but very wasteful in front of goal.

In contrast, the last couple of times we've played the Pies, we've been such a rabble from the outset that it's as if the team has completely lost faith in its ability to play against them.

                      We'll win all four.

But in the end, the only win that really matters is against Collingwood.

Win that one and I'm happy to withdraw from the other three games

Not too sure we should go that path CTS, the withdrawal method is fraught with danger.

Ok I agree GS, not wanting to get into an argument here with you, but that is not what I meant, yes a coach can be out coached on game day, no doubt about that but I was reffering to player skill errors. If players start to miss the target with handballs/kicks, continuously kick behinds rather than goals, give away silly free kicks that result in goals to the opposition and things of that nature, than that is out of the coaches hands on Gameday is what i was reffering to as I'm sure is what coaches are reffering to when they make those sorts of comments.

Agree, please oh please beat them! I still have nightmares about that game late last year, one which I left at half-time! Their supporters were unbearable that night, as was the way swans were playing!

I had a lot going through my head in reply to that, but I refrained from innuendo and obvious comments that would infringe RWO rules

I was saying to the kids just the otehr night, that this is the second most important Swans game of the year - the most important being the Grand Final.

The reason it carries such importance is simply because it's Collingwood we're playing.
I've said before, the Swans can lost, so long as Collingwood also lose.
If the Wobbles win, then the Swans also have to win to make me feel better about the round as a whole.

If the Swans lose any given round, and the Wobbles win in the same round, then the only thing worse than that is if they played each otehr.
It's leave the country kind of stuff for me.
Just to get away from it all.....
