But he found Jolly unmarked, closer to goal and on a very gettable angle. And it was Jolly, not Kirk or Buchanan or Richards. Jolly kicks those 8 times out of 10. If he'd tried to pinpoint someone under more pressure than Jolly was, and landed up turning the ball over, I could understand the sentiment that he should have had the kick himself, but as it is, I can't see how anyone could criticise his decision in that instance - especially because a few moments later he missed a long shot at goal himself when he was slightly closer to goal.

Do you agree that Goodes was great yesterday?
Do you agree that we lost?

So what? One great player doesn't make a team.

His greatness is offset by the rubbish football that Moore, Bevan, Buchanan etc dish up and Hall's poor discipline.

Goodes plays well and we win...Goodes plays well and we lose...Goodes plays badly, and we lose by more!!
Get over the "he should do more ' nonsense!
He's only ONE man, even if he plays as if there are two or three of him sometimes. Leave it alone!

Never said he should do more, just that he rarely drags us over the line. People get carried away...

But as previously suggested, it is rare that any one player drags a team over the line if he doesn't have enough team mates also playing well.
