I think even in rugby league you would argue he was supercoach in his day but others in the modern game have caught up and gone past him. Don't forget Gibson was in charge during the 1975 GF when St George got flogged and that flogging margin stood until last year. Bennett is the modern day supercoach.
In AFL, I would compare Kennedy to Gibson in terms of their time in charge. Sheedy and Mathews have earned their own respective tags of supercoach.

Just watched a replay of the round 2 game. Hawks had alot of injuries during the game...and no ruckman.
Swans by 40+.The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.Comment
