I'd like us to pay out Biffo's contract for the rest of this year and sack him NOW!

I feel sorry for inspirational leaders like Kirky, Goodes and Hey Jude who put everything into this game while the moron "Big Bad Bustling Barry" showed that he cares more about whacking blokes than helping the team to victory.

I actually reckon the work rate and intensity was there for pretty much the whole game, and in that sense it was our "best loss" of the season, simply because we did actually play 4 quarters. It was more the skill and decision making that let us down - and has to be said that Luke Hodge played a blinder back there in defence for the Dorks.

Gave away a freee kick in front of Swan goals then exploded into a an abusive tirade on the umpire. Thus three by 50 metre penalty kicks leading to Hawks goal from goal square.

Gave away three 50m penalties when the game was in the balance. The Hawks then kicked two goals and the game was over.

Agree on both points. I think for me it's that in the final quarter the skills and decision making were actually better than they were in the first three quarters, hence you could see the different in workrate, etc.

It's one of those Hodge things, even on one leg he beats his opponents.

Certainly the incident changed the momentum of the game, however, it's the same story as it has been, we did not have 22 players out there. The passengers have to go, and a couple of young speedsters need to come in, even if we do lose games this year, we have to get some senior footy into DOK, Vez, Brabazon et al. Thats the only way to go now. The season is over if we cant beat Coll and Crows and to be honest I don't like our chances

at this rate we wont be playing finals but atleast we ll have a 3rd brownlow for goodesy. is he on fire or what. just annoying that every game its the same old kirk , goodes, jude, jolly and o keefe that come out to play.

Lets be clear here. Today's game was not an awesome contest between two great sides. It was a fine example of who are the stars of the games....those little men in green. It's been a long time since I have seen a game so over-adjudicated with no reason.
Halls 150m would have been a free in a normal game with a normal umpire.
Goodes is such an awesome player but I am going to pay homage to the Dawks. Down and out with half a bench, the melbourne media gunning for them, limpy and stumpy still managed to stand up.

If ever there is another thread denigrating Adam Goodes I am going to take my bat and ball home.. He tried his guts out and nearly won it for us. So you bastards will say"nearly". Yep nearly, carrying a load of millstones around his neck. I have nothing but admiration for him.
