Sorry if he played I didn't notice him specifically. The Pies oddly enough had the ball most of the time.

I wouldnt say significantly, their rep side only beat ours two years ago by a goal, will be interesting to see the score in this years game. Considering the money they have to spend compared to our clubs they arent that far ahead
The edge is not the limit, It's just the starting point...

Only 9 listed players + 1 scholarship player (but according to BF Currie didn't play despite being in the team list).

Queanbeyan (5th) flogged Tuggeranong (6th) so they leapfrog us and we now sit in 5th just outside the Top 4. We play Eastlake (2nd) next Sunday

Vez should be given the call up. Gilchrist has upgrade written all over him.

Brabazon 38 possessions and 1 goal. Not bad in a team that got
                belted.

We should give Braba another go in the seniors. Got nothing to lose and judging by his 38 possies today obviously knows how to find the footy.

                  DOK aswell.

Since it was reported above that he got injured again, I don't think he'll be playing in the seniors until he can get some consecutive games under his belt again.

Ablett should get another shot too. But he needs to be used off a HFF or HBB instead of plain tagging.

Ablett should not get a go again!
He adds nothing to the team and takes valuable experience from a young player who has the potential to improve. Ablett should be in his peak years and is struggling to make the best 22. Would much rather see smith, thornton, vez, barlow, brabazon, dok then malcheski before Ablett.

Whats the deal with people wanting Brabazon to play?

Have not seen much of him, but by the useful and quite insighful reports of the reserves he's no better than Ablett disposal wise and if you were watching the game on Sat night, thats what killed us in the end - poor disposal. Sure he might get heaps of disposals and runs all day but we can't have another one of his type in our team.

I've got no interest in seeing him. From what I've seen (and heard) he's just more of the same - poor skills and a poor decision maker.
We do not need another one of those.

We need a replacement for Fosdike. A runner with a big motor. He could not do any worse than Crouch on Saturday night. He could have at least kept up with Didak and laid a tackle. If he is not picked in the place of the aged tagger we have no credibility as a rebuilding club.

Fosdike is the forgotten loss!!! He made us look good by being all over the ground presenting and then running the ball on quick, long and accurate. He was the fittest player along with Kirk and we have not been able to replace this sorely missed incredibly under rated player.Deserved a Norm Smith too!
