With Barlow, Smith, Brabazon, Thornton, Veszpremi and White in the team you can't exactly say we are not rebuilding / playing kids / looking to the future.

I am very happy to see this - It means that if we lose i won't be as disappointed than if we had stuck with older out-of-form players!!

They should have been shovelled in after the Bullies ended the era in Canberra. And Crouch should have retired on a high note after the same game.

This is good and in some of our minds on here long overdue. The supporters who think you are disloyal if you write off this year,s premiership chances must be seeing reality by now.....even the selectors have!IMOwe have more chance of being successful with some unpredictables running around the paddock. Maybe Braba and Vespa will kick a bag of goals..who knows? We do know that Moore will not and needs some time to recharge in the 2's. I think his dropping is 2 games overdue after he missed gettable shots and refused to handball to a teammate.Crouch,s selection is completely baffling and shows the opposite message to the selection of youngsters. They are scared of the Crow,s forwards(rightly so) and think someone who is 31,in poor form, upset the coach last week and will not be a part of any Swans revival in the future is the answer? Better to have runners in the backlines and choke the midfield..attack at all costs! Defend against the Crows with the same old style and same old plan and we will have the same old result! They will beat us!

I'm approaching my trip over like I do a trip to the dentist. It may not be so bad. But it may be excruciating as well. I'm fearing the latter.

I'd love to see what Roos has in store for us this time against Adelaside. Because what he has used against them over the last umpteen season has come up as little more than an epic fail.

What is the bet the Crows once again stifle our handball happy game out of defence. Will be clanger-central on our half back line yet again this weekend. As it is every time we play stoppage-based defensively minded sides coached by people who know we are one trick ponies in terms of our game plan.

Our key is Barry Hall. If we get the ball to him & he starts kicking goals, we are a definite chance. Because when he lifts & starts taking marks he not only becomes an intmidating presence across half forward, but he draws oother defenders away from their men/zones..

We have something we haven't had against the capuccino kings for some time. Pace across the ground. If Jolly can dominate Brad Nobody and Ivan Milat we are in with a sniff. Would expect Magic to be pumped and playing like there is no tomorrow. If we can break clear of the midfield and hit Big Beamish with a few lace outs early the confidence of the kids will lift. O yes and if Shaw can shut his trap and concentrate on trying to run the ball through the corridor we will give more cheek than Amanda Vanstone in a g string.

The Bevanator is our best small defender by a mile. And our most versatile player by a million miles. Not only does he tag like a blue heeler before tucker time but he quarterbacks, takes pack marks and snaffles off the packs up forward. Crouch is easily replaced. He should have been replaced in game one this season.
                  You forgot the pivot bit.

More so if she is walking backwards in a stooped position.

Adelaide has beaten us 9 out of the last 10 games. It is an understatement to say they have worked out our game plan. Will we be surprised with a completely let loose style and take caution to the winds with a bit of risk taking.

Crouch would flog him (and most of the team) in a sprint. The best 22 is your best 22- and he's in it.

Like him you are living in the past. Rioli before George Pell interceded and had him taken off by the power of prayer had time to beat him to the ball, roll a smoke and dial home to his mum before mr Creaky staggered up to lay hands on him. The only person that Creaky could flog at the moment is himself.
