Disposal was poor. Marking, commitment was good, but his handballing was rubbish (bad pass to Goodes lead to Porps goal), kicking wasn't great, etc.

Farout I'm just so over it. I thought by halfway through the 2nd we were a massive change at 41-16. Instead of going for the kill we shut it down for 3-4 mins and the momentum swung when they got the goal in the final minute before HT.

We just don't have the finesse and basic skills which is elementary stuff in the big league. Most games we've been there or thereabouts but in the space of 20 mins we concede dozens of goals and it's all over.

No, very serious. We had a lot of young players and lets face it, if we won by 40 points, we still would not get past round 1 of the finals even if we made it that far.

LOL I love it, according to AFL, Mattner, Shaw and Goodes led the Dream Team votes. It's a shame that the other 17 players were MIA from the list. (Grundy and Richards got 30 less points than the above)

              WIN 105-143
              LOSS 67-100
              WIN 67-84
              LOSS 100-121
              WIN 75-94
              LOSS 65-116
              WIN 101-106
              WIN 68-123
              LOSS 77-117
              LOSS 75-86
              LOSS 89-66
              LOSS 69-85

we consistently score between 60-80 ... that is a disgrace. At this level of AFL, that is just ugly. Not good for the sport. Not good for the fans. UGLY.

With MOL retiring we're not exactly blessed with forwards if Barry is shown the door. A 19 year old Johnson can't be expected to carry the forward line.

Maybe solve two problems at once by getting Richards away from defence and playing him as a forward.

So how can u say he 'was alright'. By your own admission he turned it over nearly every time he touched it.

From what I saw Goodes barely had an impact. Maybe I just didn't notice. He seemed well off the pace to me.

In fairness to Hall, the game was over before he hit anyone and I would lose it too if I kept busting my gut and the delivery to me was either crap or not often or fast enough. Goodes gets moved around too much to cover the incompetence of other players. How many players can you delist in one season? Surely Crouch has played his last game and Barry why bother bringing him back except for a round 22 farewell game.

                          I agree,

He was OK early and got some touches late, but overall I thought he was below his average.

He was being tripled teamed throughout the match so it was hard for him to be present, but when he broke away (apart from the goal in the 3rd quarter that led to the Adelaide goal) he was effective. He and Mattner in the first half when we were on top were leading the charge.
