So the game is in the balance, we stay in the fight after it looked like we were going to be run over, then Hall has another brainsnap. Sure he kicked 4 goals and played well for 3 quarters but what he did surely must have a deleterous affect on the side going into the last quarter. His body language was horrible in the last quarter. Although he kicked a goal he had dropped his head and looked a dejected figure.

Interesting observation is that MOL looked a much more lively player when Hall went off.

With Hall out we might just see a different game style next week with midfielders swarming into the forward 50, in direct contrast to the current midfielder no go zone.

Young Thornton is a terrific mark. He is only a twig but if he is allowed to run into the central corridor he will kick goals. At the moment with Big Beamish that tactic would book him a bed in Cas. Also Vespreenmyself is good overhead. Barlow is a very lively centre half forward. Throw the big mountie in for a bit of pack clearance work and it will be interesting. We will have a Doggies style forward line. Plenty of pace, moves all over the shop and a magician pulling the strings. Despite all the crap about us having no skillful young uns we have a slew of midsized players who can mark. The makings of a very good forward line. Can't wait till next match to see how the kids go up front.

Nick Davis wasn't banished for "undisciplined acts". His contract wasnt renewed because in many games he didnt try. Halls problem is different. If only Nick Off had put the dukes up. He barely raised a sweat after 2006.
