    Nice Guy Award

I'd like to nominate Patrick Veszpremi and Mike Pyke as two genuinely nice guys. Both polite, friendly and take time for Swans supporters.

LRT has always been like that too. Always seems greatful that he's doing what he's doing for a living and enjoys doing it.

Actually BBBH is a very nice guy - off the ground that is.

I totally agree about LRT, he is a gem and is one of the best to talk to. Never distracted and makes you feel you are interesting.

Was surprised how easy Ves is to chat to. Will make a bee line to Mike Pyke in future.

Also easy to chat to is Mal.

I always found Simon Minton-Connell to be a very friendly and accomodating person back when I went to games.

          He was an absolute peach.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Someone who I hate talking to is Cyggie. Always a monologue with Cyggie.

Never stops crapping on about his scooter motor - 75ccs, heat exhaustion clauses in his Workers Comp policy document, overly acrobatic opposition mascots show-ponying etc.

I have a lot of time for the Geelong Cat. Everytime he grabs a scarf and wipes his bum with it I giggle.

              And his head wobbles, too!

HalfCat I reckon in some way caused Russell's death. He grabbed Russell's Swans on a stick & started running away with it. Then Russell ran onto the Kardinia Park field trying to get it back rather stressed & on the verge of passing out with worry & over-exertion.

Russell died later that night. I still reckon Heart Cat is partly to blame for sending poor Russell into a panic attack.

As regards nice guys, by far and away the nicest player to ever have played at our club was Adam Heuskes. He'd have just have played a full game and was always out the back of the bowling club social club kicking the footies with the kids. He just decided to sit with us one day. Was talking with us as if we were his friends.

Plus anyone who wears fishnet stockings for a photoshoot for the Sydney Morning Herald during Grand Final week has to be very cool!

Yeah, Heuskes was nice. I got him to sign a photo, and instead of the usual "To X from X", he wrote a couple of paragraphs. Still have it in a drawer.

Neil Brunton and Mark Bayes were very affable. Bayesy was particularly good with the youngsters and always had time for a chat.
It's very hard to live in a studio apartment in San Jose with a man who's learning to play violin. That's what she told the police when she handed them the empty revolver.

Totally agree with Mark Bayes. Also Jamie Lawson was a humble gentleman too...such a sad loss to footy at such a young age.
