I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time -

FWIW, we've got only one 2005 GF goal scorer left out of seven.
Apart from Mickey O, they're all still playing (not necessarily AFL).The man who laughs has not yet heard the terrible newsComment

Really! Now that is a truly useful bit of useless information, informative and giving me something to consider. Just what I need on a cold cough sneeze drip type of day.
Thank you shock.

Useless information? On RWO? Isn't that why we're here.
Stand by for an update on our outstanding 2005 premiership OOTF performers: where are they now?The man who laughs has not yet heard the terrible newsComment

And then there were 7. Money's still on LRT.
Ryan O?Keefe, Craig Bolton, Tadhg Kennelly, Jude Bolton, Lewis Roberts-Thomson, Adam Goodes, Paul BevanComment

LRT was always the smart pick, and with this week's selection committee decision (on top of earlier decisions in 2010) telling against Bevan's long-term future, he'd now have to be an almost unbackable favourite. Unless his injury problems turn chronic. Or ROK keeps telling the selection committee, 'it's okay, I can manage it, I'll get myself up for this week' at age 36.
There's a respectable chance that three 2005 premiership winners will still be going around for other sides (Buchanan, Schneider, Dempster) after the last one has left Sydney!Comment

So, sneaking up the inside rail.....It's Dempster! .... Looks like he has at least another 2 years in him.Last edited by ernie koala; 18 August 2014, 03:37 PM.Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect... MTComment
