I see most want to keep the draw which is not surprising considering we find it acceptable to watch a sporting contest for 5 whole days and not have a result.

I love draws, and I hate the idea of extra time. If I had my way, all finals would be replayed too, not just the Grand Final (although I get the nightmare that would be, and the Collingwood/West Coast Qualifying Final replay in 1990 obviously put everything out of whack)

The NRL have extra time even in a Grand Final now, can you imagine losing a Premiership in over-time? I find that thought horrific, twp teams can't be seperated but one team can outlast the other after the normal game time and they deserve the highest prize in the game? I just can't buy that.

I'll leave overtime to Basketball.

I always thought the golden point in NRL was a good idea until I was at the drawn game we had with the Lions.
As CTS said, the mood afterward was really weird, but I would have been shattered if we had played extra time or golden point or whatever and had lost that game.
Leave it as it is!

I watched the Cats roll the Hawks & as an AFL (ie; non H or G) supporter would have been happier with a draw, what an awesome contest, one that stand the test of time and should be remembered, it had of resulted in a draw it would have been one to saviour for all time.

The media writes this dribble to sell papers, not to enhance this wonderful game
