All good except the last three words.... and the "potential" bit which is a crock.Bottom of the pack. Kirk did OK there. Moore has the potential to be a clearance machine. He has that rare ability to stand up in a tackle and dish off. Joel Selwood isn't tall or pacy, and doesn't have that much endurance either (better than Moore, I'll give you that). But if you can win the hard ball, throw yourself into packs like a cannonball, stand up in the tackle and deliver, you'll be fine.
You won't be fine if you're put in the midfield but can't keep running to the next contest, and the next, which also makes his defensive ability in the midfield very poor... especially when his opponent is running off him all day and delivering into the forward line without pressure.
This is were games are won and lost - the midfield, so no thanks.
It's why so many clubs overlooked him even though he dominated junior football."As a player he simply should not have been able to do the things he did. Leo was a 185cm, 88kg full-back and played on some of the biggest, fastest and best full-forwards of all time, and constantly beat them." Roos.
Leo Barry? you star! We'll miss ya, ''Leapin''.Comment

Being that most teams rotate almost every two minutes or shorter and the majority of these rotations are in the midfield, what endurance is actually needed these days to be a midfielder?
I would have thought the current trend of rotations would suit Moore. Even Leon Davis spends time in the midfield these days and he most certainly not up to it when he was Moores age.
Is his fitness that bad that he cant run for say five to ten minutes at a time through the midfield?Comment
