If he can do a repeat performance against the Cats then I think we have a potential gun on our hands.
Wouldn't say 'no chance'. He's been fit all year and didn't get his chance until round 19. Given that the coaching staff have said all year that the kids they want to play are injured or have been injured, I think the club are far from certain on him.

I thought he was pretty good on the weekend.

This was probably the game that allowed him to showcase his capabilities and I reckon he equipped himself quite well. His performance probably booked himself a spot on next year's list (though that decision will also be assisted somewhat by the period of transition freeing up spots) but hopefully the next three weeks will provide him with an opportunity to consolidate.

While he doesn't appear to have the smarts of Hannebery or Meredith he did look very composed and gave the impression that he felt comfortable as a first grader. I think he was thrown into the centre square a couple of times for restarts and looked capable in that role as well.

There are a number of players in the side with dodgy looking kicking styles so he shold be right at home. As long as he regularly hits targets I don't care if he kicks with his heel.

He picked up a heap of possessions against a weak side in Richmond ... but that means he is already better than many on their list.
Showed poise a few times and was a real goer all day.
Give him more chances and I think he can become a good consistent player.

So if he didn't play again this season you still think he would be guaranteed a spot on the list next year?

The next three games are Cats, Maggies and Lions. Turn up the blowtorch! How will he go in this heat: will he become strong like steel or go down in flames like a piece of wood?

Nothing's guaranteed but we do have plenty of players dropping off the list already due to retirements/being given the boot already etc.

He'd be pretty unlucky to get the chop and it looks as though he'll have a few more weeks to pick up some valuable experience. Plus he has something we have a need for which is speed.... He'll be around next year...

I thought he had a cracking game especially given the reviews he'd been getting on here - one of the best performances I've seen from our youngsters first up this year. Certainly worthy of another game.

Why wouldn't he play again? I believe he will play all of the remaining games.

He showed more in that one game then a lot of our more 'high profile' rookies.
