Time to bite the gun and blood and brood the youth. Even if the only trade bait we have who is wanted by other Clubs is Jolly and ROK we should be prepared to make the sacrifice. It will get us some high draft picks and provide room in the team for the youngsters to gain much needed experience so they are ready when the time comes for the next tilt.

1. mean that neither White nor Johnston would (on paper) draw the best tall defender from each team
2. show White and Johnston the work rate required to become an elite key forward- joker that he may be Fevola when on song leads, leads again and leads again
That said, I'm not sold on it and honestly think it would just result in seeing 60-70% of inside 50s being targeted at someone other than them which may be a hinderance.
Could release Goodes back to the midfield, though.I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his timeComment

2 slabs plus another weekend with Bingle to Fevola
Fevola tells Carlton he can't wait to get a microphone back in his hand
Mrs Fev sues him for everything
Fev narrowly avoids being tarred and feathered by the Carlton board by hopping the next flight out of Melbourne
Fev joins Swans on a "beer money only contract"
No Swans draft picks or ROK to anyoneCIA Agent to Policeman: "Have you ever had anti-terrorist training?"
Policeman: "Yes, I was married once."Comment

He's 29, he will cost us pick 6 and one of our best young players at a minimum, and even with him in our lineup we still wouldn't be a top 4 team.
If everything goes well, we are still a couple of seasons away from being a genuine contender by which time Fev's output will be declining
Will pretty much sums it up for me.
Plus I think his recruitment would actually hinder White, not help it. White looks to be a FF to me, not a CHF. His strength is his burst on the lead rather than his endurance or contested marking - notwithstanding the odd speccie he's taken. Good FFs take the overwhelming majority of their marks on the lead, not in packs. This is essentially what Fev is great at but I think there's only a role for one of these in a team at a time.
I am genuinely excited about watching White develop next year. None of us has any idea how good he might become but that's part of the fun.
And I am genuinely excited about watching Hannebury, Vezspremi and Meredith develop their tanks over the next couple of years so that they can be the ace midfields kicking it onto Jesse's chest. Chances are we'd lose one of these (or White) in a trade for Fev.
Can't think of many things that would make my interest for the Swans wane but I seriously think recruiting Fev might be one.Comment

Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

"We're not in the market for Brendon Fevola"
Also spoke on no @@@@@##ad policyYou don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby ZieglerComment

Just spoke about he and Tammy's book. General stuff did not discuss trade week
Did say though something to the effect that if you weren't willing to comply with team ethos you will be sent packing
Subsequently on radio confirming Sydney is talking to a number of players specifically Mark Seaby
