We need a new powerhouse forward (fevola) a new michael oloughlin (leon davis) a new hardworking midfielder ( preferably burgoyne but im sure hell sign for hawthorn).
LRT. Lord Roberts-Thompson. He may look like the Munster, but looks can be deceiving.

you can only be a windup.

we need fev like a hole in the head. I can't see why we would want davis and Burgoyne is a lot of things but hard working he isn't (skilled, outside, downhill skier would be three descriptions which come to my mind)

Mate if you can think of a better forward other than fevola who is on the trading list then be my guest in telling me. I was getting ahead of my self with Burgoyne but he could be a good asset. Also with leon davis he is up for trade week and if jolly wants to move back to melbourne with nothing stopping him, trading jolly with leon davis would be a pretty good deal on our behalf considering we can't stop him moving. I don't rate leon that much but if were going to come out of this deal we mine as well get a decent forward, which might help goodes move back into the midfield, his most favourable position. And who wouldnt want fev.. he kicks 75 + everyyear and because of his off field descretions yes it might not be worth it.. but barry cost us the finals last year during the hawthorn match and fev has never done anything wrong on field but off field and with micky o and hall gone we definelty need a new forward.

Yes we can, it's called a Binding Contract and he still has 2 years to serve on it.

I wouldn't, for one. Regardless of his playing ability, if his personality issues are so substantial to prompt a side to want to trade him out, then there has to be big questions over his professionalism and dedication.

We won a premiership with a squad that was not the most talented, but the hardest-working and most united. We should be very, very careful about signing players who are likely to be detrimental to that ethic.

At least Fev isnt a Ranga. So he's got something going for him.

Jolly is really putting us in a @@@@ty position by nominating Collingwood. I'm tired of this BS "I want to go back home" line, and then he nominates a club that just so happens to be in the top 4 in 2009.

If the Hawks offer us pick 9 he should be happy to play for them, I'm tired of Jolly and his attention seeking wife already.

Our no dickhead policy means that the fevwit is not coming to the swans.

Agreed, but only if he did nominate the Pies and it's not the media or Collingwood talking rubbish.

His manager said "Darren will be playing for Collingwood" so it does look like he wants to go there.

Yes we have a no dickhead policy yet we signed bazza in 2002. Ok fev might be a dickhead and i know he's hes not the smartest guy going around... but if we sign him i can guarantee no sydney swans fans will be complaining especially when he bags 75+ a season.

Our "no dickheads" policy is the biggest myth in football.

Of course it is, and I'm glad it is. Some dickheads are really good at football, and that's what they're paid to do.
