Here's some juicy gossip ... my criminal budgie loving friend was in WA THREE WEEKS ago where he lunched with a few members of the criminal budgie management. They told him then that Seaby was coming to Sydney. Of course he called me straight after to tell me all about it and I didn't believe him. Its all hilarous. How come the media know more about the Swans trading decisions than the Swans do! And far more than our Coach does. I don't think we'll recruit Fev. BUT Roos has a wily approach to dealing with the media which only encourages all the rumours.
If we didn't need him he could have quashed the whole thing early and just said so - we're building a forward line around White, Goodes, Seaby, Currie, Johnson etc.
Or if we didn't want him he could have said that - if Carlton have had enough of his bad behaviour why would we want to bring that to our club etc.
But he keeps putting out the 'we don't have a pick we're happy to trade so we're not considering him' line - which obviously everyone picks up and runs with given the likelihood we'll get pick 14 from Collingwood.Comment

I'm intrigued by the confidence being displayed that the Fev's behaviour on and off the field will all change by him coming to Sydney. Like the 'no dickheads' policy being a bit shaky under scrutiny, I think the 'send the bad boys to Sydney for rehab' hasn't had total success. A couple of players come to mind!
