Guess we can console ourselves with the fact that Jolly wasn't in the same class as Jolly when he arrived in Sydney. People seem to speak highly of Taubert as a ruck coach, and certainly the evidence of what he has does with the pure rucking skills of Orreal and Pyke in such a short period of time is promising.

And at least we have plenty of ruck depth for next year, even if none of them is (yet) close to top notch.

Yep hence why we might be in the market to use another one of them before the end of the week.

Seriously need an updated list of our draft picks now.

Neal Balme has admitted they have salary cap problems

Surely we can manufacture a ruck divisions out of Mumford, Seaby, Currie, Pyke and Orreal??

This is a real list re-fresh, first big one since 1998. Will be really interesting

Interesting to see if we can nab a player in PSD

very happy if we get mumford, 23 years old, good prospect and could turn into a gun. If we sign kennedy i think we will come out of this trade week pretty happy with our dealings and especially the 5 draft picks we picked up to further re build our club. O keefe was draft pick number 58 and goodes number 43 fairly high so this year could produce some absolute guns lets hope! go swanns

Did Roos talk about Kennedy on SEN?

so what picks do we have now.
6,14,28,38,39,46, 54 (though most liekly to be swapped for WB #63), 70

I would be happy to swap 38 for mumford and 39 for kennedy..
keep our top 3, unless we can bag a 3-4 yo exp Forward with potentional while White develops..

Use pick six on Jetta, 14 on Butcher,
Though Andrew Walker from the blues is up for grabs wonder if we use 28 on him

He said 'hope to secure another couple of players' - so I assume that means Mumford and Kennedy.

Said we expected to have two more players by end of the week. specified Mumford has agreed to terms

                      Mumford's stats look OK

I would think the other player is Kennedy

I bet we'll give up our second rounder! We better not throw out pick 14 for him or i'll definitely be disappointed! A third rounder would be lovely. I'd be extremely happy if we lose a couple of third rounders for Mumford and Kennedy!!! If it was either 38/39 for one and 46 for the other we'll be set up for a very good draft and future i hope!

At the start of this year Mumford was listed as a Geelong Rookie with limited experience in 2008 as a stand in for injured Ottens. He is 200cm tall and
                            102kg.

So Swans have offered 300,000 a year and hopefully he will become another Dean Cox.

What I'm wondering now is what they have in mind for pick 14. I hope it's worth it.

Hard to say what Walker would be worth given his talent and injury history. Would be worth pick 28 if he could stay on the park.

The Roos Smith falls into the same category. Would probably be worth the risk depending on the trade tag on his head.
