    Yeah, that's likely.
You know you love the hand wringing and speculation!!!
    It's keeping you young.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

If Carlton, who are the better placed team to be seriously finals-competitive over the next few years don't want him in that period, I can see little merit in having him for the same period.

It seems a strange definition of "re-building ", to plan to have a change in Full Forward in say 3 years with White assuming a new position and role then - and not now.

The Swans just twittered their restatement that they don't want the Fevwit.

Do you think we'll recruit him??

I'm with you Jeffers..he carries that poison with him that affects the others in the side. Just as With Barry Hall the other players had to be thinking of looking after him as well as their own game, Fevola would be carrying EGO baggage that would affect the other players.

We found others to take Barry's place and Carlton will fill the place left by Fevola. They will wonder why they were so worried about losing him.

At any level of any sport you find those supposed stars who affect the team and when they go (whether it is a 16 year old star netballer who has become pregnant or Fevola) the team left behind is much happier.

Deal has been agreed on all that has to happen now is for Rischitelli and Bradshaw to agree to leave. God I hope they do agree.

Presumably Carlton fans will assume that Rich and Henderson are to be thrown in as sweeteners?

Amazing stuff Vossey! Legend is true! While other clubs navel gaze and talk rubbish about no dickheads he grabs the Coleman Medal winner.Watch Brisbane soar up the ladder! Maybe he realises that it doesn't matter how you get success as long as you get it.

Fev was perfect for Brisbane though. They are an improving side who made the finals and did well once they got there. They can really start pushing for a flag now, whereas we still would of been a long way off even if we did get Fev.

                                Nail on head, Robbo.

Brisbane's time is the next 2 years, ours is the next 4, by then Fev would be on his last legs. Great get for the Lions, reaming the Blues in the process.
