I don't understand those saying there was no atmosphere that day, my memory is that the place was jumping!
Wasn't it the day Lappin broke his leg and play was held up for an eternity so the crowd did the Mexican wave and we copped heaps from everyone south of the boarder for not showing due respect.Comment

Ha! The three memories I have from that game are Tadgh's spin, Lappin's leg and the Mexican wave.I don't understand those saying there was no atmosphere that day, my memory is that the place was jumping!

The atmosphere was great IIRC too. A great day at the footy."My theory is that the universe is made out of stupidity because it's more plentiful than hydrogen" - Frank ZappaComment

Thanks for the vid - what a joy to watch! What happened to that Monty Buchanan that would run all day? Let's hope we say "that" Tadhg again this year.
And yes it was a cracking day out there - it was a beautiful Sydney spring day as I recall.Comment

Mmmm, got me thinking now.
I originally thought it was the day Jason Roe did a knee when he collided with ROK. They both went down and I thought 'Oh no!!!'. Fortunately for us, ROK eventually got up without any ill effects.
I still don't know now....unless they both happened in the same game..

LOL, yes that's my memory of that game. Sure did cop it from those south of the boarder. I had fun as no doubt many others there that day did. All good despite what those on Big Footy at the time were saying about us Sydney supporters.I don't understand those saying there was no atmosphere that day, my memory is that the place was jumping!

The Tiger is back!
How great is it to have Tadhg back in the red and white. To hear him speaking so positively about the future in Australia.
His ghosts have been laid to rest and now he feels like he's home. Seeing the press conference has put a spring in the step this morning, not just for me, the Club and supporters but mostly because I think the Tiger can now feel happy once more.
I hope he has a sensational 2010, free from the unfinished business, free to play footy with the flair and skill that we know he's capable of...now his load has lightened!
