On ST, they interviewed John Longmire who is currently in NZ helping the All Blacks prepare for a tournament.
He spoke about the great contribution that Bradshaw would add to the Swans.

Interesting that they put it that way...Could mean nothing I'm sure but that could mean they are negotiating a contract, awaiting to see if the AFL can confirm that no other club can afford him in the PSD before us OR just waiting for the answer. I am getting impatient. hahaComment

But in the end, we had the cash, were interested in him the most and where our list is at probably suited him better with him being the big kahuna up forward for us at least for next year.

no doubt he will be great there, however there are few things that come to mind:
1. i have concerns that his body will hold up for 3 years.....
2. He was effective at the Lions as they delivered the ball very quickly into their forward 50...We tend NOT to.. so will that reduce his effectiveness.
3. White will have to run from CHF as due to number 1, he wont be able to push up the ground as much..Comment

Pretty much a done deal, it probably took Bradshaw a little longer to make sure it was the right decision as he is from Victoria and moving a young family from Brisbane to Sydney and then again in three years time is a big decision.

Heard on SEN this morning that Carlton have made/re-made a very healthy 3 year offer to him and that he is considering it. Acording to Brownless and Harford, he is going to Carlton, but then again, you'd be hard pressed to find 2 other individuals in the media here who are very pro Victoria/anti Sydney-interstate than those 2. Having said that, they also said that it doesn't matter what offer Carlton offers him as the swans have the higher pick in the pre season draft and could surely match any offer. The only way for him to go to Carlton is for him to nominate for the national draft, the swans using their low picks on 'yoof' and the blues to pick him prior to the swans pick 38.Comment

According to SEN (not the most reliable source) this morning, Kernahan and someone else from carlton flew to brisbane yesterday to throw one last ditch bid at getting bradshaw, with bradshaw's manager saying that he was 50-50 last night with presentations from both clubs very impressive. He is expected to announce his preferred destination this arvo some time, so more waiting im afraid!Comment
