Hmm, interesting now that Matty Richardson retired today, but I still doubt it. Doesn't fit the insane drive for everything young that most Melbourne based clubs seem to have.

OR they could now draft Butcher at 3 , Morabito to Freo, Kangas blind sighted and take Cunnington at 5 leaving the Mighty Sydney Swans taking Dustin Martin at 6.

        I can dream right?

Thats the first thing that came to my mind when I heard richo was retiring! The only one that has ruled out taking bradshaw is north from what ive heard, highly doubt melbourne would take him either....freo was my concern and now the tigers are too

I wouldn't lose too much sleep. Richmond have some decent young forwards in Morton and Reiwoldt and Richo didn't play as a forward for the last 25 games of his career anyway. Plus as others have mentioned he doesn't fit into the yoof strategy.

North have said they're not interested. Melb said they won't take anyone who doesn't want to come (and he is too old for their plans), Freo is youth oriented and it would be a risk trying to convince Bradshaw to relocate to Perth at his age.

The PSD traditionally has not been the area for clubs "cutting another team's lunch" as it can make things tricky when trade negotiations are necessary in future years.

Richmond did make noises about grabbing Craig Bolton when we had him lined up in the PSD but in the end just let him slip through to us.

If someone wanted him they would just say "we're going to take him with pick X" once his availablity was confirmed. Noone would hold it against anyone - that's the system. There's nothing to be gained by waiting to draft day to spring the news.

I don't think Clubs are going to stuff up a senior player with a young family.

just when we thought it was safe to back in the water........ie just because a high profile player wants to go to one club doesnt mean a thing for Voss !

Has Vossy been taking some Malthouse God-complex supplements? His comments about Bradshaw being used at trade bait were equally insensitive and arrogant.

Looks like McPhee has officially rejected Essendons deal and will go back to Freo in the PSD.

                          Awesome news for us.

Still doubt Richmond will poach Bradshaw due to his age but it's still going to be a nervous wait until December.

Nah Bradshaw is as good as done

Dees and Tiges will probably take a punt on a youngster that missed the ND, plus you'd think that a couple of players such as MacDonald, Thorpe, McGuire and Cloke will slip to the PSD in addition to McPhee who is destined for Freo.

Not sure what the Roos will do, but just can't see them taking him with his age, contract length and financial demands

                            Come on 2010 hurry up!!!!

I thought the remarks were fair enough in themselves but they came across as bravado and a little callous towards Bradshaw who'd been his mate. He could've said "sorry mate, had to be done" or similar. Roos does a good job of being tough without trying to act like Charles Bronson.
