Short term, a very good, experienced, goal kicking forward like Bradshaw is just what the doctor ordered.
Yes, I know that Lewis Johnstone, will become a megastar...one day, but definitely not in 2010. And Jesse White's development is exciting, but he still has a way to go.

Agree - I would have thought that having someone with Bradshaws experience up forward would be a great help rather than a hindrance. Our kids are still learning, and they could certainly learn a thing or two off Bradshaw.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

I'd love to see hima t the Swans. While he may not have the profile or aura that surrounds J Brown, he has won just as many games off his own boot for the Lions over the last half a dozen years as Brown. He has the ability to kick big bags, is a good kick and would be an excellent person to help bring our new generation of forwards through. Not sure how we would get manage to snare him, but a big yes from me.
"You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."
I don't want him. He'll not be part of the team when we have our next premiership tilt. We have to play youth. He'll only take up a young eager kid's spot and hamper their development. Also not sure about whether we want his ilk at our club ie someone who is ready to jump ship the moment he is a little unhappy.
Wow, that would be a massive loss for Brisbane if true: first Pick 12 and Henderson for Fev and 27, and then losing Bradshaw on top of that! Lions fans will be ROPEABLE!
They are already ropeable.
They bombarded the club with hate mail over Fevwit.
I'll see if I can find a link.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun. Blessedare the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.
You mean someone like Josh Kennedy, Ben McGlynn or Craig Bolton?
Ted the Bear, Rhyce Shaw, Marty Mattner;
C'mon down Bradshaw, we would love to see you here for a couple of years while you cool off. We have lost so much experience all in one hit, it would be good to have a classy bloke like you here.
Also, you can just see Bradshaw and Kirky having chin wags, can't you. Kirky would have someone in his agegroup to hang out with. Sure, why not. Get him if we can. Noice different unusual!
Can't name my source but have it on very good authority that Daniel Bradshaw will be leaving the Lions. He's gutted at being tabled for Fev, is out of contract and is in talks with Swans officials....stay tuned.
Bradshaw signed a 1 year contract about a month ago.
I can't see how it would happen, unless he retired and then nominated for the PSD, or he and the Lions agreed to terminate his contract.
It's different to the Fevola situation. He might be a few years older, but we'd be getting him for free and he doesn't play the same position as White, plus he's capable of playing down back.
If he could come to Sydney, and that's a huge if, I'd welcome it!
Thanks Molly.
I went looking and couldn't re-find it.
Cheer Cheers.

I'm all for this, by the way, partly because of his age. He's old enough that he won't be sitting on the list so long that he impedes another young player's development, merely providing a bit of a transition.
Also, he can play in defence. That's very useful. At the moment we seriously lack key position defender depth. If a player like B2 or LRT were to go down, it would give us another option.
Finally, he'd be free, as far as picks/players go. All we'd be paying for him would be his salary, and his spot on the list.
Add to this his lack of baggage, and overall it's a far lesser commitment, for what you'd hope would be a pretty decent return.
