That's not entirely correct, there is now significant speculation that while he agreed to a 1 year deal that he never put pen to paper to confirm it.

I'm not opposed to Bradshaw at all. His GF and goal kicking experience could be a useful learning asset for our younger players. To say nothing of what our forward line would look like with him in the R&W. The Lions have just hit their list with a chainsaw though-so I can't see it happening.

Employ him as a coach then.

          nnnnahhhhhhh

NO to Bradshaw......not the right player for the team's medium term goals......2010 is going to be a tough top 10 finish anyway with or without him

If he was retired-then yes. He's still got good footy left in him. I think he'd be better on the park. Less ego and more smarts than others. Not a long term prospect. But would still be a handy pick up. Esp with a young forward line like ours.

Bradshaw would be useful, but if we want to look at players from the Lions what about Joel Macdonald? Solid defender, strangely delisted after playing 22 games this year. Or Rhan Hooper - talented, speedy but somewhat problematic.

Nothing wrong with being competitive between flags

Richmond took that "lets play the yoof as they're part of our next Premiership team" line too. And look where that got them!

I think he's awesome, and very under-rated. I'm with 99% of RWO'ers on this thread in saying 'yes please' to the possibility.

If you beleive the rumour that he didn't sign the contract just agree to it, then it's not the Lions call whether he stays or goes it's his.

LOL! For sure. Its all just dreams and speculation. Still...would love to see him in OUR forward line. He would add more to the team than Fevwit. Three premiership medals more.

CARLTON remains interested in veteran Brisbane forward Daniel Bradshaw, who is yet to sign a contract with the Lions and is still in Carlton's calculations for the pre-season draft.

                        .....

He also has to consider whether he is willing to take his chances in the pre-season draft, where Sydney and Port Adelaide both have scope to pick him before the Blues, the Swans with the capacity to meet virtually any contractual demand if Bradshaw chose to put a high price on his head in the draft.
