Probably about as many as in 2003 ....

Which shows that opinions don't count for much really - it's what takes place on field that counts. Bradshaw helps (or would). If he can be got, and wants to come, get him.

I'm all for Bradshaw. We need a good target up forward with Barry & Micky both gone and Jesse White is very much a work in progress so why not get another recognised goal kicker so that Jesse can continue to develop without the added expectation of being the number one target and main goal kicker.

I am happy to have Bradshaw. The clubs that win flags in the main have multiple forward options and genuine goal kickers. If we snag him and get even an average 2.5 goals from him thats over 50 goals and no one at our club got anywhere near that this year.

Think of the number of close ones we lost with low scores and that's finals again - QED.

umm, this has already happened. any more wholesale delistings and you would end up like the Tiggers who have completely forgotten how to win.
I would be happy to float around the bottom of the eight and get the young guys experienced in finals footy then swoop!

Looking at the AFL website, the Swans have had 11 players leave the Club after this season. This does not include rookies. Everyone has talked about the Lions list changeover but they only changed 10 players.

So Swans are No 1 for list change for this year.

With Bradshaw i think we are a better chance of getting said valuable experience sometime in the next 3 years and that therefore makes him worth drafting.
We hardly need to draft Bradshaw to obtain valuable finals experience.

Bevan, B1 & B2, Goodes, ROK, and LRT are premiership players, and McVeigh, Richards and Malceski were there in 2006. Throw in players like Bird, Mattner, Moore & Jack in our 2008 final, and we've got plenty of finals experience without needing Bradshaw. And all of the players I've mentioned above are younger than him.

We're better off putting resources elsewhere than Bradshaw. Having said that, it won't surprise me if and when he joins the club.

That's an absolute insult to everyone involved at the Club - the board, the players, everyone.

I believe he was pointing out Bradshaw may be the difference between us missing/making the finals n the whole team getting more finals experience in the next few years...not that he has it.

Who do you think the club is better off using its last spot on the 2010 list for?

Wow, surprised there is any negativity about Bradshaw??

All we are giving up is a PSD pick (by the looks) which is an amazing result.

I'm actually nervous about NOT getting him because I am so bloody excited that we will have some great experience up in our forward line without having to do a trade.

The last guy we got from Brisbane as a PSD pick has gone on to be ok

Agree with Damien, I'm nervous Carlton will get him. He's a great marking forward, very strong and a great kick. The only serious problem he's had over the last 5-6 years was his ACL in 2007 but that has nothing to do with his fitness.

As long as he's monitored correctly he could easily play 18-20 games for us for the next 3 years. What a bonus!

Didnt he already reject a move to carlton during trade week when he was there(along with Rischitelli)?
If so then why would he want to go there now?
