Hawthorn of course. Everyone in Melbourne knows the famous graffiti that said: "what would you do if Jesus Christ came to Hawthorn". Some wag wrote underneath, "move Peter Hudson to centre half forward".Comment

I'm sure Jesus would be comfortable with us. He'd be great mates with Kirky, although he wouldn't be too impressed with Seaby. One thing's for sure, Jesus was no Christian.Comment

I like that idea.
Next year have JESUS IS AFL banners everywhere.
So when the team has a bad game, we will just blame the Devil !
Everyone else does when they get caught doing something wrong. In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.Comment

This allows him time to develop and work on the things that the coaching panel want him to do (such as leading, forward pressure, overhead marking etc) all without having to worry about having to kick 3 + goals a game.
Bradshaw also allows us to play Goodes full time or for the majority on the ball which is a huge win for us as a team with him and ROK in the midfield.
The third tall can then be filled by Currie and Johnston over the course of the year.
Structurely, this is a great get for us if it goes ahead.

However, ultimately this 'trick' doesn't allow you to cheat the cap or overpay players. Say for simplicity that the cap is $7m; you can't have contracts to pay your players more than $7m in any given year, nor more than $21m over 3 years.
If the moral of the story is that the Hawks have been living off accumulated credits by effectively paying some of their 2009 wages bill in advance during 2008, then the scheme relies on them having had 2008-year contractual obligations that took them under the salary cap in 2008. Eventually that scheme must run out, if you get to a stage where all of your superstars are negotiating new contracts demanding market value, and the sum total of all of their contracts takes you right up to your cap limit.Comment

I don't see that there's any element of "cheating" or even sharp practice, in it. If you have managed your player payments so that you really are $600k under in a given year, you'd be mad to let that money go to waste seeing that you can't carry it over to another year...He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. Bradshaw gives us much needed versatility in attack.I watched him play dragging his defender away from Brown who kicked a few then when Brown got double tagged he led straight and fast while Brown went wide dragging two defenders away from the contest. The result? Two marks and two goals to Bradshaw. This is a guy who knows how to play in the forwards! He also knows how to find the goals, something lacking since Plugger left. His name would give us an awesomwforward line.Comment

Fact is if he wants to play for us , we will take him.
Personally i think hes the ideal foil for white and even goodes in the forward line. Goodes leading from a true centre half forward position (around the fifty) and white and bradshaw from the goal square. Three other smaller players crumbing around and you have a pretty good forward lineComment
