Guess now we gotta wait in hope that none of the other clubs before us poach him. Unlikely though.

No-one seems to have thought of this angle, have they? What happens if White's nose does get out out of joint, and he decides to go back to Qld - perhaps to Gold Coast - when he gets off contract?

It'll be excellent as long as he doesn't breakdown.

and with no Bradshaw who be our top 5 scorers ?

What top 5 players could put together 200 goals to be a top 8 team?

How many goals specifically would each of these top 5 score?

If Bradshaw and Tag play for us in 2010 we should expect fight for 6th spot......any less expectations would be self defeat before starting out !

Given we've lost 2 of our main goal scorers this season, I don't think White would be too upset. As a relative novice to senior footy, he can't do it all on his own, and there will be opponents that can shut him down. With Bradshaw he'll get some much needed help, till he can shelve the training wheels for good.

I think so, when you consider Baz's mid-season retirement, we effectively finished the season with MO'L and White as our key forwards. Bradshaw coming to us works out pretty well as White is still finding his feet and our other talls are untried. White would be an integral part of our plans going forward with or without Bradshaw.

Pretty much agree. If we'd just lost one key forward, maybe. But we're down Hall and Magic on last year so there should be room for both. And unlike Fevola, Bradshaw is used to playing as part of a two-big-man attack.

Also got to remember that White is far from proven yet. He played a handful of very promising games at the end of last year but he's still got a long way to go.

A calculated risk IMHO, White isn't at the stage to be a focus for goal scoring and it is a void that needed to be filled.

                        Brilliant

Great work by the footy department getting him to come. A player I've always admired, I hope things work out well for him in Sydney.

Pretty hard to see the pre-draft period working out any better than it has once we knew Jolly was going.

For Brisbane and Doggies fans - good luck, I reckon you'll need it.

I suppose if anyone is going to be miffed it might be Johnston. But given where he is in his career, the scenario holds more upside than downside for the lad. Barring the unforeseen by the time Bradshaw leaves we've got two young forwards with years ahead of them.

It's great news for the Swans. I'd rather have Bradshaw than Kennelly, TBH.

I just want to thank the recruiters on a fantastic job getting Bradshaw. All fans can look forward to a great season in 2010 with a rejuvenated ruck (Mumford Seaby) a dangerous forward set up (Bradshaw /White) great young midfielders with back up,and a settled back line proven already. I like our New Team very much as it offers experience with raw talented youth. Now we look forward to the draft and number 6 for the icing on the cake.Well done recruiters!!!!

Quite possibly the best trading period for Sydney since Dr Eddleston went south with his chequebook. Am very happy with the good work done by the club's recruiters. They have recruited a very good mix of experience and potential. Am really looking forward to seeing how it all comes together in season 2010 - do it for Roosy!
