I wish NOG well. He won't be an automatic selection so if he can get more game time that would be great for him. He's be good at Tigers because they are all soft and he would give them a bit of grunty hardness as I don't care what RP says the guys plays fearless football.

I am confused that we aren't putting anyone on the Veteran's list or so it would appear. Why would that be?

        Ablett may be going????

        Has he gone yet?
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Goodes and Kirk are on the veterans list, just still kept inside the senior list (allowing us more rookies and immediate rookie elevations). I'm assuming whether we have them inside or outside the list can change for the second list lodgement. That being the case, they're probably waiting on news on Playfair and Kennelly. If neither stay on the list, and Goodes and Kirk are put outside the list, that would leave 8 spots to fill even with Thornton elevated. We have 5 picks up to 55, and from then on it's very deep, so we'd probably not want to go deeper than that. With a PSD pick saved for Bradshaw, that's 6 list spots, ideally. That being the case, it would make sense to keep Goodes and Kirk inside the list for the time being, and if Playfair and Kennelly ARE around for next year, then put them outside for the second list lodgement, so we can use all draft picks and have room for Bradshaw.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

I've waited at least two years for this day to come Primmy.

Let me enjoy it. Rumour or not.

Judging by his performances over the last 3 years, he's been on the sick list for a long time now. And if they need help burying him, pass the shovel.

Yeah - he would be great at the Tigers now that Ben Cousins is there...he can pinpoint passes to that guys chest 10m out from goal in his sleep!

Scarcely shocking news, I've been kinda waiting for it all off-season.

The role they were tending to use him at the end of this season, the tough forward, seems earmarked for Jack. A great contributor to the club but his best is behind him by a number of years.

Are you all lining up for a Word Eating Competition! He is at present training in red AND white, and he is not going anywhere. You have all fallen in line with a bored newspaper person with nothing better to do before the Draft than stir.

Is it worth holding onto him for another 12 months to trade him to the Gold Coast for draft picks?

You might be onto something there. Perhaps Roosy is out foxing us all. Keep him on the list, and then let him get snaffled up by GC as the "One un-contracted player" they can steal from us. Like the red headed kid at school that you never wanted on your team. You pretend like you're going to pick him and then your opponent swoops on them. ha... Sucker!!
