Was a 5 but for the last game Vs Lions we he reminded me just how good he was. Overall, a disappointing year after an excellent 08. Not saying he went a year to long, he just didn't go out at his peak.
In the interests of objectivity, I always do my score and comments BEFORE I read everyone else's. Seems I missed the point of this one. i.e. A big Micky O love fest as opposed to an actual rating of his performance in 2009. in that case, 11.
Didn't kick enough goals in his last few seasons..... Probably picked more on emotions in the end than what his body could deliver......
This should stir the pot a little in the off season!
Firstly, oh der. Personally, I was just happy that he was playing - even if he never kicked another goal. I'm pretty sure most felt the same. It was very important that he reach his 300 milestone. Sometimes you've gotta make sure that that type of effort is paid back, and if picking him even though he was playing like crap is part of that payment, well I'm ok with it.
Secondly. Nuh. Sticks and stones and all that stuff pal.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun. Blessedare the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.
