      Foxtel mag arrived today.

      They are doing live:

      Adelaide v Port on 13th
      Bulldogs v Brisbane on 14th
      Geelong v North on 21st
      Fremantle v Melbourne on 21st

The other four matches (including ours) are replayed at 23:30. I'd imagine they will be broadcast 'Free to Air' in that case.

FOX are also doing 3 of the 4 Qtr Finals live the following week.

                  Why not? I will be.

I am more concerned that we may have peaked to early? I don't know enough (anything!) about sports science to back that up though.
Hopefully with our abundance of options we can manage the youngsters to avoid fatigue later in the year.

Yep 5 bucks on there might not be a bad bet.

Reckon we are a certainty to beat Carlton. What odds are we for that?

I'm surprised the betting agencies haven't wound us in yet. Sure we've never won a NAB cup game under Roos, but we've never given it much consideration before either and this is always telegraphed via the media. This time everything coming out of the club indicates a full strength side and a serious crack.

The caveat I have is key players being rested the further we go. Apart from that, you know the Swans will try to win it the further they progress.

I can only find odds for overall winner - perhaps odds don't come out for the round until the week it's played?

Perhaps with all the trouble and controversy caused by Roos off the cuff comments to McVeigh previously , maybe the Swans feel its better to say in the media at least that they are going in all guns blazing. Takes the heat off them when they dont progress and allows the Melbourne media to frame their usual market prediction of us getting the wooden spoon this year.

Ease up, havent won a thing yet so there is no peaking too early! I still rekon the focus is on round 1, even though there will be a strong side in. Carlton takes the NAB Cup very seriously, always have, so it will be tough to beat them IMO
