Apart from a flag, what's your Christmas wish for the Swans in 2010

Apart from a Premiership, my biggest wish for 2010 is to beat Collingwood. I am so sick of losing to them every year. After that, it's to win a game or two in the pre-season comp.

What about the rest of you?
2005 will live forever (or until we win another premiership)

    GO BLOODS!!!!!!!!

To be happy knowing they have played to their capacity.
Although I heartily agree with you about Collingwood.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Beat the wobbles is a given.

Other than that ... tackle, tackle, tackle!!
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

*Win more games than last year (simple but effective)
*have very few injuries (preferably none - but thats impossible)
                  * that they just go out onto the field play their best footy and forget all the off field hyped up blood bothers culture hoohar - it is after all footy.
*play an open attacking style of footy (ok that is asking too much I realise)
*beat Geelong, St Kilda, Bulldogs & Collingwood - this will boost the confidence no end.
*give us all hope and therefore a reason for all of us to put in for a few days off around the end of September so as we can make the pilgrimage to Melbourne.
                  * oh yeah and world peace!

Wish: Beat Collingwood at ANZ and then beat Collingwood in a final with a kick after the siren at the MCG.

"other than a flag"? - lots of things like

Beating Collingwood who my partner follows. Costs me dinner at a flash restaurant every time we lose

Beatings the Adelaide Cows. You should try and live here in Adelaide when the Cows are going well, it's puke stuff. I look forward to the day we can beat them again. Come on guys, it's only the Cows!

A fully firing forward line that others can't match up on, includes Barlow at last proving his worth

A more dynamic midfield with quick and accurate delivery into that forward line

and the backs, oh yes, more run out of there than a bus full of tourists in India. Mal and Tadgh back to their best of course.

Now where did I see Santas address? .........

To beat St Kilda in round one and beat them WELL!

I reckon mentally that would go a looooooong way toward achieving many of the other wishes.
