unfortunately with so much class retiring in 2009 we have been able to spread the investment in players and this will mean 80 to 100 game players will sometimes be over taken and never seen regularly again at the Swans or maybe other clubs ??

except with the GC and WS teams coming in this is a fortunate period for these guys. Players like Bevo could end up being a starting player at his Western Sydney !!

And whats the plan for LRT. I notice in the articles that are being published that the backline spine is frequently being touted as grundy, teddy and bolton with little or no mention of what the intentions are for LRT.

I had similar concerns picking a team. I think the selectors will pick him to match up on a tall forward wherever they are playing. If the opposition forward line goes small he will warm the bench.

I reckon LRT had a great year in 2009, noticably lifted his overall value to the team, He'd be in my team every time.

Grundy was impressive last year and given the recent words of praise from Goodes, if there has to be a KP backline casualty come round 1, it would be Richards.

Nice position to be in though, what was the last time we had a surplus of quality KP backs?
