19 touches, 4 tackles and a goal is perhaps flattering but cannot be considered awful for a player of his type. he made a few mistakes but his job is to get in there and get his hands on the ball, which he did.

plus, marked for delisting after the first round? get real. with you selecting we never would have had leo barry, kirk or jude bolton who each had an ordinary few years before they got it together.
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know

Thought he was decent enough myself although he did make one costly error when he missed the chest mark near our defensive 50.

However someone really needs to make way for Hannebery. Another extremely dominant display today in the ressies (abiet against an SFL outfit). I dunno how we match up on Adelaide in terms of height but i think either Richards or Moore should make way for him. We need more runners.

Hanners was quite superb wasn't he? Head and shoulders above anyone else on the field IMHO.

I am not sure any of the reserves played a game that absolutely demanded selection next week. But against the Crows, an extra running player probably wouldn't be a bad thing.

I thought Moore had quite a lively game all in all. He made that one whopping mistake Jeffers refers to, but they pretty much all made blunders at some point during the game.

What a silly thread. Moore was far more effective than White or Bradshaw and playing a far less important role.

Moore is not the best option for applying defensive pressure and keeping the ball in our FWD 50 this requires pace he is sssllooowwww and many a time the Saints ran off him too easily. Bevan or Ves are better suited to the role,IMHO the old saying about stats definately applies to Moores game tonight. We have better options for this role.

In what way was Moore effective in his role? Did he apply good defensive pressure - no, did he beat his opponent - no, did he influence the outcome of the game no. I ll watch the replay again maybe I missed somethin??

                Cheers

Bevo was hanging at the entrance to Bay 123 at 3/4 time.

Was with some mates so not sure if he was happy to see them or happy to know he'd be playing next week.

He had a good game tonight, his assist was very nice. However, in the long term, I don't think he will make it as a forward. If his role is to be a defensive forward then I don't he'll do as good a job as Rohan or Bevan.

He was fine. Most of the team was fine. We were just beaten by a very, very good side. Christ some people are quick to sharpen the axe.

He did alright I thought- no worse than White or Bradshaw. All made mistakes, but generally he did alright. I saw some of the reserves and Hannebery was shoulders above in what I saw and I hope will come in somewhere in the team for next week.

He was pretty good? Can't work out what this thread is for. One of the stupidest I have seen, attacked the footy well all nigh???

I'll take the 100 supercoach points I got for Moore. I thought he played a fair bit in the midfield. I can't understand some people.12 contested possessions would please Roosy I would think.
