Back to Moore for a while...I think there are some short memories about just how good he was in 2008. Sure, he was being judged as a player in his first season established in the senior team and he needs to keep improving, but he did finish 6th (or thereabouts) in the B&F count that year and was instrumental in us winning a few of our games. The Port game in Adelaide is one that springs to mind off the top of my head.

Agree Liz and the playing group and coaches obviously thought highly enough of him after that season to elevate him to the leadership group. He's a smart guy on and off the field - a very smart footballer in fact and you need those guys as much as the natural athletes.
"As everyone knows our style of football is defensive and unattractive, and as such I have completely forgotten how to mark or kick over the years" - Brett Kirk
I hope someone is eating a hell of alot of humble pie at the moment....Moore was excellent on Sunday.....very creative which I like more than anything. Bizarrely after fifty games, i think he just needs about one more step of confidence and then he will be over the crest and flying.
"I'll acknowledge there are more talented teams in the competition but I won't acknowledge that there is a better team in the competition" Paul Roos March 2005
Ooh, don't hang around, I think you'll find they've gone home.
Hoot Di, an absolute Hoot.
Many of us appreciate what Bulldog does. He has his role. He plays it. Not everyone will get 30 possessions each and every game. AFL is not designed like that. It will be great to watch live this week and see what his job is. Kind of hard to do that with all that mob out there in his w ay, but we should get a clearer idea.

Jury is still in there they ordered Pizza hut last night... in my case my argument is there may be better players for Moores position, this is based on form last year and the first game of this season, he was ok against the Crows i.e he played his role well and is the team again this week. - jury is still not out, happy to eat humble pie if he plays 10 - 15 consistent games over the season.
Stats may not always tell the full story but the man at the club leading contested possessions is usually doing his bit. I think He deserves his spot but good to see the amount of competition at the club. Must be disappointing for some who are missing out
AFL rules should mandate every team has one player with a head resembling a concrete block
I think this is met. Sometimes concrete is on the inside. I present exhibit 1, A Didak, for your consideration.
Back OT, thought Moore was excellent last week, some very quick and smart decisions with the ball to release a player. I look at him physically and don't see him as an automatic selection every week and I also would like to see Vesz, Rohan and TDL (when fit) in a forward role.
