No thankyou - Langford is vastly overated on the basis of a little bit of footy. He cracks under pressure imo and not what we need.

You may think Longmire has dealt with you harshly at times but at least you know where you stand. Just wait till you deal with Clarkson's mind games. Ask Lance.

Tom? Tommy... it's not too late.

I do believe we need outside depth though

We are stacked for inside players with mills, Heeney etc that will be more and more midfield

An excellent article about our Horse:

AFL grand final: Sydney Swans coach John Longmire puts people first, game second
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

He is exactly what Hawthorn need. We should prevent that if possible.

Neil Cordy wrote that there is a difference of only $100k with the offer that the Hawks have made to that of the Swans. If this is the case then surely $100k could be easily found given the increase in player payments and the retirements of Teddy, McGlyn and delisting of Derikkx and others.

If that is true then I am pretty sure we'll find a way to get very close to the offer. Maybe we will only be able to offer a three year deal that then opens up him having a crack at free agency at the end of 2019...

What bearing does the fact that his father no longer works for us have on his decision? Which came first, dad's decision because Tom was going back to Victoria or Tom's decision because dad didn't work for us any longer?

You would think if it was true the club would have announced it

Yeh, that was mentioned in some of the comments.
I guess we wait and see. Like we have been for 4 months.

I was thinking about that... if it is true, maybe the club left it to announce today so that the guys who were going could enjoy their last night with their mates.

I told him I'll find him and kill him if it's not true.
