He was still annoying as @@@@ though. Poor guy. He must feel like such a tool doing that. Hope they pay him well.

That's cos we used it when it was warranted and not when marketing told us too. Well done Swans fans!!!!! There's no doubt the home crowd got the lads the biscuits today.

Was superb that chant when it got back to all square in the last quarter.

Hey Jeffers!!! Long time no see

It just burst out of a lot of people simultaneously when we drew level. I started myself just after the goal with out hearing it yet only to then hear it echoing in my ears right away.

And that ladies and gentlemen, is exactly what I was trying to get the Market Mob to understand. This our moment in time, and its like a coming together of the Swans mob, unorchestrated and unplanned, which gets bestowed at special moments only. They did listen to us and stopped usurping it, and last night it broke freeeeee....fantastic work Swannies.

Dead right Primmy. "Sydney clap clap clap" sounds like "Carlton clap clap clap" etc but nothing sounds like the slow Sydney chant ringing around a ground. It can only be used for special moments and then it's spine tingling. The players have The Bloods, we have our chant. And neither is to be tainted by being manipulated.

the chant being used so effectively in the 4th quarter was just the encouragement our boys needed.

I watched the game again last night, and when the chant was going it drowned out the commentators, you could barely hear what they were saying. That is when you know it works.

It sounded awesome on the radio.

We will have to get the syyyyyyyyyyyyyyydddddddddddnnnnnnnnnneeeeeeeeeeeey yyyyy chant going at mcg this weekend. Will sound awesome against the dogs. I am going down to the game and hope lots of sydney syders are just to cheer and support loudly.
Hope we get a win up - will be a tough game now with Johnson retiring - just hope our team is better.
                          Love those Swans

I'll certainly be trying to do my bit to get the boys over the line. Lets hope we give the Dogs a caning and the Sydddddddddnnneyyyyyy chant can be kept for the Prelim where no doubt it'll be needed! Its one of those chants that just happens at the right time, and can't be forced upon the crowd.

I was chatting to a friend of mine, who's opinion I respect, this evening who said that the atmosphere at the ground sounded fantastic on TV. He's a Demons fan so he had no bias in commenting on it either.
