$65 is for Platinum Reserved Seats, Bronze Reserved is only $20.00.

        My bad.

I'm just used to all the day games starting at 01:10pm on a Sunday.

Indeed, being a Saturday 02:10pm start, the ressies will start at 10:50, with 10:45 gates. Which means of course that 1/2 time drinks will be at midday and not in the AM. Much better, don't want to be thought of as a team of pisspots.

Now all you need to do is ask if you can get an earlier flight and you're all set.

The cheapest seats (Bronze - $20) exist but are in short supply. This is a beef with the SCG, who insist on the price increases, not the AFL, which sets the benchmark price.

It aint a beef with the SCG, we rent the ground from them on game days and we can charge what ever we like.

The AFL sets the minimum price per game and how many at a minimum of these tickets need to be on offered. It's the Sydney Football Club who then decide what they want to charge for reserved seats, how many of each and where they are located.

I'll try. You'll have to tell me who's who though.

I sat smack bang behind the goals about 4-5 rows from the fence at the round 22 swans v lions game last year at SCG for $20. Geez I'd like to know where you get to sit for $65! You couldnt get more platinum than those seats I had. Even a platinum seat at the MCG isnt $65, except for a final, sydney really is an expensive place!

Each to their own, but I reckon 4-5 rows right behind the goals is the worst place to watch footy.

...and what's worse, everytime a goal is scored, some clown jumps up in front of you and waves a bloody flag !!!!!

On a serious note, I agree with Ugg.

Hey Scott, enjoy the game. I'm taking the whole clan with me tomorrow so skulking off to the bar probably won't be a great look.

And of course pls understand that if we in fact lose tomorrow's game, it will be a further 20 yrs before you're allowed back to the SCG.

Yep, should be at the ground after 11, pending plane/taxi.

Scott, liase via text message if you want a bevvy (or two).

Reggi is on a midday flight, so won't be arriving until bouncedown, but after game bevvies at the after match are a firm favourite at this stage.

                              Cheers

Really looking forward to this game. It's been forever since we played them at the SCG.

I'm quite confident that we can get the win. The Eagles are a shocking side and have the worst young talent in the comp besides Richmond. Take Naitanui out and they probably have less young talent than Richmond.

I think we can expose their lack of quality key defenders. If we have White, Goodes and Bradshaw up forward together then we should have a field day. Glass will take Bradshaw. But then that leaves Spangher on White and Schofield on Goodes - LOL.
