We should win the next 3 games, but its the next 4 that are going to be tough, if we can win 2 out of 4 against Bris, Geel, Bulldogs Freo(they look pretty darn good at the moment), we've done well. I just hope we win that game against the Cats. Nothing would make me happier than going down the highway, winning the game and FINALLY having the drive back up the highway to Melbourne with a win under our belt.

1 week at a time is the answer. There is a certain amount of calm and balance around the list this year (combination of old and new). If the second/third efforts we have seen over the past 2 weeks are an indicator, the results should look after themselves.

I'm so confident of our chances against North that I've just booked a flight down to Melb for the game. The last couple of years I've been sick of travelling down to Melb to see them lose. I need to see them win down there to restore my enjoyment of travelling for games. I'm confident this game will do it.

Haha, I am exactley the same. Booked my trip prior to the season started though. Been to Melbourne so many times in the past 2-3 years with a 0% success rate. Itching for a win!

Hmmm...not sure we should be allowing you to go then - bit like Des not so many years back. I booked my trip for this game a few weeks ago but my away record ain't too bad.

The next three games might be winnable, but it's the following four games that will really tell us where we're at as a team - Brisbane (h), Geelong (a), Bulldogs (h) and Fremantle (h). And you could add the game after that, against Hawthorn (a), as well. We would have to win at least 2-3 of these games to be a real show this year.

We going to make the Tigers sick? Sounds like Cousins already has.

We MUST win the next three - we MUST win against teams we should beat. On top of that, we need to win a few of the 50/50s or the top 4/5 clubs (Dogs (2), Cats (2), Pies (1), and Horks (2). The next set of five are gauges of where we are as a list. The last five games at the end of the season however loom very very large, as we'll need to have a few wins in the bank after rd 17. There are lumps of rounds in the season when we should win 4/5 on the trot.

                4-1 after 5
                7-5 at break
                11-6 at 17
                13-9 at end.

Yes that's optimistic but it's not out of the question. I've tipped us at six in my time capsule so that's how i expect the season to unfold. So you can now work your season and tipping around my assessment.

                cheers,
                moc
